Put an interactive 3D experience in a browser. Ingenii builds WebGL and Three.js applications for virtual walkthroughs, product demonstrations and data-driven scenes that users can explore through a link.
Choose the interaction people need
A useful browser experience should make the subject easier to explore. We define the camera controls, navigation, object selection and information that appear around the scene. The first prototype focuses on the user journey and the relationship between the 3D view and the rest of the interface.
Connect the scene to real content
Our work includes 3D Court Vision, which reconstructs tennis-match data in a browser, and a Fujifilm hospital walkthrough. These projects illustrate different needs: explaining changing data and exploring a place. We plan models, textures, annotations and data structures around the specific experience being built.
Treat loading and responsiveness as product features
Browser 3D has to balance detail against download size, memory and rendering cost. We review asset budgets, loading states and representative browsers and devices. Integration can include a surrounding website, application backend or content workflow, depending on how the experience will be maintained.
